PAT Style Slip-On Terminations

The G&W Electric PAT Slip-On is a 15–46kV factory-assembled porcelain termination for outdoor distribution cable and riser poles, sold and supported in Texas and Oklahoma by Ryan Sales.

  • 15-46kV
  • conductors 250-1500MCM copper / 250-1250MCM aluminum
  • semi-con OD 5/8 to 2-3/16 in
  • wet process porcelain insulators
  • factory-installed stress relief
Overview

PAT style Slip-On terminations arrive factory-assembled with an internal stress relief device and pre-filled dielectric, so field crews simply add a connector, insert the cable and attach ground and aerial connections. High-strength wet-process porcelain insulators resist tracking and weathering in polluted environments, and adapter kits cover URD, XLPE/EPR, lead-sheathed and PILC cable designs from 15 to 46kV.
