What is the difference between Richards loadbreak and deadbreak elbows?
Loadbreak elbows, such as the Richards 200 A loadbreak elbow, can be operated with a hotstick while the circuit is energized and carrying load. Deadbreak elbows at 600 A and 900 A carry more current but must be de-energized before operation. See our deadbreak vs. loadbreak guide.
